The 116528 is a full 18 kt yellow gold version of the Cosmograph Daytona, its fixed bezel engraved with the same tachymetric scale used across the range. Rolex made it from around 2000 to 2016, offering dials from plain black, blue, white and steel through to champagne-colour and black, and gem-set options such as white mother-of-pearl or gold crystals with diamonds.
The self-winding calibre 4130 inside the 116528 holds about 72 hours in reserve and runs the chronograph via a centre seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, plus a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock. Water resistance reaches 100 metres thanks to the screw-down case back and crown of its 40 mm Oyster case.
Like other gold Daytonas of this generation, the 116528 sits on an Oyster bracelet with flat three-piece links and a folding Oysterlock clasp with Easylink comfort extension. We inspect every pre-owned 116528 before it is listed, and we confirm availability on request.
