This Mastoloni pearl ring pairs a single cultured pearl with a line of round natural diamonds. The pearl measures 7.5–8mm, a size that sits comfortably on the finger and reads clearly without overwhelming the hand.
The shank carries 0.10 carats total weight of round natural diamonds, each held in prongs. Prong setting leaves the sides of the stones open, so light reaches them from more angles and the small diamonds stay lively against the surface of the pearl. The diamonds taper along the band rather than circling it, keeping the underside smooth where the ring meets the finger.
Pearls are softer than most gemstones, so this ring wears well as an everyday or occasional piece when kept away from abrasives, household chemicals and perfume. Wipe it with a soft cloth after wear. Stored on its own, the pearl keeps its surface longer.
